EMC(Electromagnetic Compatibility): The ability of a device or system to operate in its electromagnetic environment in compliance with requirements without causing intolerable electromagnetic interference to any equipment in its environment

EMC=EMI + EMS
EMI (Electro Magnetic Interference)
A compound word, considering "electromagnetic" and "interference" respectively, refers to an electronic device that neither interferes with nor is affected by other devices.
1 Conducted EMI Noise is transmitted between the live line, the median line and the ground line, including Common-mode Noise between the live line and the ground line, the median line and the ground line, and the Differential mode Noise between the live line and the median line.
2 Radiated EMI noise travels in space in the form of radiated electromagnetic fields, including common mode noise due to non-well grounded or ground reflection potential non-zero, and differential mode noise due to large signal loops that are not well controlled.
No matter how complex the electronic equipment or system, electromagnetic interference needs to have the following three conditions:
Three elements of electromagnetic interference:
a source of interference: refers to the electronic equipment or system that produces electromagnetic interference.
b Interference transmission path (or transmission channel) : refers to cables, space, etc.
c Sensitive equipment: electronic equipment or systems that are susceptible to electromagnetic interference,
EMS: Electro Magnetic Susceptibility
Electromagnetic anti-interference refers to the ability of machines, equipment and systems in a certain environment to have a certain degree of immunity to electromagnetic interference in the environment, that is, electromagnetic sensitivity.
EMS also includes:
Static anti-interference ESD,
Rf immunity RS,
Electrical fast transient pulse group immunity EFT,
Surge immunity Surge,
Voltage DIP and Interrupt, etc.
