Generally speaking, a power adapter and a charger are not the same thing. The former is a power switch used to provide energy; The latter is used to charge the battery and will be charged in stages based on the battery capacity and charging characteristics
There are mainly the following points:
1、 Different components
Power adapter: It is an electronic appliance for small portable electronic devices and power conversion devices. It consists of a casing, transformer, inductor, capacitor, control chip, printed circuit board, etc.
Charger: composed of a stable power supply (mainly a stable power supply, stable working voltage, and sufficient current) and necessary control circuits such as constant current, voltage limiting, and time limiting.

2、 Different current modes
Power adapter: The correct power adapter requires safety certification. A power adapter with security certification can protect personal safety. Prevent hazards such as electric shock and fire.
Charger: It is normal for the battery to experience a slight temperature rise in the later stage of charging, but if the battery heats up significantly, it means that the charger cannot detect in time that the battery is saturated, leading to overcharging and harmful to the battery's lifespan.
